It’s officially October. x

#omggggggg   #bones’s pumpkin would boast the same traditional jack-o-lantern pattern every year  #because truth be told he’s kind of a stubborn purist when it comes to holidays   #it’s a trait jim is fond of but loathe to let slide without comment   #bones barks something about respecting the classics and jim gestures to his own masterpiece   #”okay but look it’s you the day we met”   #meanwhile spock’s too busy overanalyzing the entire endeavor to do more than stare silently at his pumpkin for long stretches of time   #occasionally he’ll pet it   #jim offers to help get him started and backs off immediately since spock looked alarmingly close to nerve pinching him into oblivion   #when it’s time for everyone to put their pumpkin carvings on display spock’s is completely intact   #sulu’s the first to bite the bullet and ask but spock says only ”it is done” in tones of preternatural calm   #frowning pointedly whenever anyone tries to bring it up again  (tags via leighway)
